The York County SPCA will be hosting an Adoption Event May 3rd and 4th

The York County SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is dedicated to providing long-term human and animal services to Residents of York County. Founded in 1926 the SPCA is an independent humane organization and other than minimal stray dog fees and some minor governmental funding, the York County SPCA is entirely dependent on the generosity of friends and supporters.

Located at 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406 the York SPCA will host an Adoption Event.

The event will feature York County SPCA’s Animals with half-price adoption costs!

Adoption rules still apply, but this is one of the best opportunities to find and rescue animals in need. You’ll be required to fill out an adoption application before you’ll be allowed to meet with any adoptable animals.

The York County SPCA is working to have all adoptable animals ready for the event, but some may not be able to leave same the same day.

Adoptions, as always, from the York County SPCA include:

  • Spay/Neuter
  • Vet Exam
  • Microchip
  • Vaccines
  • Dewormer
  • Food Sample
  • Toys
  • Treats

Also on May 3rd is the event, Give Local York, an event that in 2018 made history by raising nearly $1.5 million for over 200 nonprofits in the local area.

The Event, Give Local York, is supported by many companies and organizations across the Susquehanna Valley and, with your support is set to raise record funds for your local nonprofits.
