Log truck flips in Jefferson, PA

A tractor-trailer carrying logs has overturned in Jefferson, PA, Jefferson is a small town to the south of Spring Grove, PA on SR 516. ( Berlin St )

A witness on the scene reports, “I heard someone say his brakes went out” and when asked if it was the wind or speed that played a roll in the accident the witness reported, “Speed was probably a factor as well he was coming down the hill.”

There was no major damage to the center square park cannon. The driver of the truck purportedly suffered no major injuries. One Resident of Jefferson, G. M. said, “Thank goodness it was so cold and no children were outside when he flipped it.” Children of Jefferson were out of school for Martin Luther King Day.
