The Windsor Area Recreation Commission posted on their official website that they will be having a Summer 2020 BBQ & Food Drive event. This will happen on July 18, 2020, from 11 am to 1 pm at Freysville Park (Windsor Wonderland). Dinners will be handed out on time and must be picked up by 1 pm.
This is a Chicken BBQ Drive Thru with Freedom BBQ, LLC as a way to support Windsor Rec Programs. If you are interested, dinners must be purchased online and you must print your receipts in order to redeem them.
Dinners include a half chicken, baked potato, and applesauce. Prices are already discounted to account for the 3% online payment processing fee. Dinners will be cooked fresh on-site and packaged by volunteers wearing gloves and masks for safety.
As a way to follow social distancing procedures, they can push a cart containing your dinners to your car so you can reach out to grab yourself.
Aside from this, they will be collecting non-perishable food donations for Community REACH, Inc. in Red Lion. This is our little way to support your local recreation commission and your fellow community members!
