On Monday, the Pennsylvania State Police officially released to the public a photo of a 23-year-old man on the lam in Monroe Country after being suspected of killing two people in Connecticut. The released photo shows a man wearing a white T-shirt, dark shorts, and dark hair, walking along the train tracks as he carried a large duffel bag. Police identified the man as Peter Manfredonia.

In a report by the New Jersey State police, Mafredonia left his black 2016 Volkswagen Jetta on Sunday along the Interstate 80 in Knowlton Township and then proceeded to find other transportation into East Stroudsburg on the other side of the border. The report added that he was last seen between the Walmart Plaza and East Stroudsburg University.

Manfredonia killed a 62-year-old Theodore Demers with an edged weapon in Willington, Connecticut. He also allegedly assaulted a second man at the Willington home. He was seen leaving the house Friday. This is based on the report by the Connecticut State Police.

As of this time, Mandredonia is still considered armed and dangerous. The public is urged to report to authorities immediately or call 911 if you have found him around your location.
