The Shrewsbury Fire Company announced on Monday that they would have a Food Truck Friday event that will be happening on May 29th at 21 W. Forrest Ave. Shrewsbury, PA. This announcement was posted on the official Facebook page of the Shrewsbury Fireman’s Carnival.

This event will be held directly just behind the Fire Station featuring four local carnival food favorites:  FFF Catering feat George’s Famous BBQ, Sarah’s Creamery, Tom’s Vegetable Co. The Original, and G’s Oven Fresh Pizza & Fries.

A portion of the event’s proceeds will go directly back to the Shrewsbury Fire Company. This is the perfect opportunity to have some awesome food while helping support local businesses and families!

The Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company is notable for organizing the annual Shrewsbury Fireman’s Carnival which is held every June. Aside from the major carnival ride attractions, live entertainment, and great food will also be served. This event is always a fun experience for those who attend it.

However, they announced Last Tuesday that the carnival will be cancelled this year due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19. In their official statement, they hope that everyone will be looking forward to the 2021 Shrewsbury Fireman’s Carnival in which they promise to be bigger and better.
