Clear the Shelter event is nationwide event planned for August 17th

On July 22, 2019 The York County SPCA announced it’s participation in Clear The Shelters. The 4th annual event held on August 17th will feature 50% reduced adoption fees on all adoptable animals.

The NBC and TELEMUNDO event since 2015 has helped more than 250,000 animals find permanent homes.

York County SPCA’s Board President, Jane Davis, said “Our goal is to find loving homes for the approximately 200 adoptable animals during this day. Though adoption prices will be half off, our adoption process will remain the same. We are committed to effectively and responsibly placing animals into their new homes. Please join us on August 17th to find your new best furry friend!”

The hours to adopt for the event will be 10am – 4pm

If you’re looking to adopt you may consider preapproval by submitting your adoption application ahead of time.

Appointments to adopt are not needed.
